For those of you too impatient to wait for your cacti to grow- and let's face it one needs patience...we are pleased to introduce a simple but effective means of speeding up the growing process. Brought to you by the awesome Anne Halonium...
All you need is a razor (make sure it's clean). Some preskiopsis grafting stock. Some offsets or seedlings, testubes and rockwool. Oh- and dont forget the gloves- pereskiopsis has nasty spines!
Start by carefully cutting your offset or seedling (scion) ready for grafting. Once you've made a clean horizontal cut o the grafting stock simply use a careful amount of super-glue to afix to the pereskiopsis stock
Oops...nearly forgot to tell you- root the pereskiopsis into rockwool at the bottom of the testtube before you start.
Thanks to Anne Halonium and the Lemon Latex Girlz- the simplicityof of this system is sheer genius! For more info on hydro pereskiopsisvisit Anne Halonium's Blog: http://pereskiopsisforestryservice.blogspot.com
