Grown from seed in the UK, this Lophophora Decipiens cacti is free flowering and produces good yields of fertile seeds.

Image above shows Peyote in a state of winter dormancy (late November 2009) as we do not water our plants October through March. In spring this plant will be watered again at which point it will swell and flower.

Image above taken November 2011. Please note our cacti are not watered over winter. We stop watering in October so this plant is slightly shrivelled as it is in it winter dormant state- this promotes bud formation. When you start watering again in spring your cactus will swell and start flowering. You peyote will be at least one centimetre bigger once you start watering.
