Mature lophophora Cactus grown from seed in the UK. This mature peyote lophophora cacti is free flowering and produces good yields of fertile seeds. It has been kept in an unheated greenhouse and was germinated in 2001.

Image above taken April 2012. Please note our cacti are not watered over winter. We stop watering in October so this plant is slightly shrivelled as the image was taken soon after its winter dormant state. Keeping peyote dry over winter promotes bud formation. We start watering again in spring when our cacti cactus swell and then start to flower.
