This family of tall columnular cacti includes the well known Trichocereus panachoi or San Pedro cactus. Faster growing than the smaller spherical cacti these plants can grow as much as a foot in ar year. Architectural greenery that will be the envy of your neighbours, these plants need to be kept dry and indoor during the European winter as they are suseptible to rot if the roots get wet at low temperatures.
